About
Dr. Stanley Chia is a highly respected Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Singapore with more than 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. He specializes in complex coronary interventions, minimally invasive heart procedures, and advanced cardiac imaging.
Dr. Chia has performed over 5,000 coronary angiograms and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) throughout his career. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Senior Consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), where he also held several leadership positions, including Director of the Cardiology Residency Programme and Deputy Chairman of the SingHealth Institutional Research Ethics Committee.
He completed his postgraduate research under the prestigious British Heart Foundation Scholarship at the University of Edinburgh, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in interventional cardiology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, USA.
Dr. Chia is widely recognized for his contributions to cardiovascular research, medical education, and clinical innovation. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and frequently speaks at international cardiology conferences.
