In his professional career he has worked as a Senior Research Associate in Division of Gastroenterology, Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, as an Assistant Professor in Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, Senior Resident(DM) in Gastroenterology, Post graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh and as a Senior Resident in Internal Medicine in Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi. He is carrying life memberships of Royal College of Physicians of UK, Indian Society of Gastroenterology and society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
