Dr Tanu Singhal has trained in Pediatrics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Infectious Diseases and International Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London, UK. She acquired further expertise in Pediatrics and Infectious Disease at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai between 2002-2008. She is associated with Kokilaben Hospital since its inception in January 2009 as a Consultant in Paediatrics and Infectious Disease. She has to her credit, two books, 20 book chapters, 65 publications in indexed national and international journals and several hundred guest lectures. She is advisor to the ICMR on antimicrobial stewardship, technical expert in pediatric tuberculosis for the National Tuberculosis control and elimination program and also executive board member of the Fungal Infection Study Forum.
